I have been dreaming of how I want to re-do our home, and found myself running out the door to Lowes to get all the supplies I needed. I came home late, spackaled, and painted our wall changing it from white to a chocolate brown. It looks great. I'm not finished yet, but I am so excited I want to show you my progress. What do you think? I need another color for every other wall. I'm thinking a lighter shade brown. Let me know what you think. I'd love to hear what would look best.

Time to Dream

Today I am watching my sister Emily's two sweet little boys. They came early this morning, and played, danced, ate, and now... well...see for yourself. It is always so relaxing to have fun, and end it all with a good rest, and maybe if we're lucky, a good dream or two. What sweet kids. I love being an aunt and mom-it makes me feel so cool.

Dreamy Hair-dos

Ever since I had Kate, I was excited to do her hair. I remember trying to put a hair tie in it, but her hair was so new and so soft, it just fell out. I remember the morning one stayed in, it was a fun moment for me. I remember almost crying thinking that my baby had grown big enough to sit on my lap and be entertained by a show on t.v. while I did her hair. Sometimes she didn't even care that I was taking half an hour. I LOVE doing her hair. We've blow dried, flat ironed, curled, waved, fluffed, ratted... yeh- she's only 3 1/2 now... but I just love to do it. For all you new moms who just need some ideas for your girls hair, here are some pictures I took over the years. If you ever need some help, come on over. :) Happy "Hair-doing"

Dreaming About Breakfast?

Ok... if you really know me, you know that I make cinnamon pancakes at least twice a week. We've come up with an easy way to make them unique and fun for the kids.

Put your batter in some kind of container you can draw with. (yes, you have permission to play with your food) Then go for it... you'll be surprised what fun things you'll come up with to make.

Some of our family's favorites are:
Star
Starfish
Car
Dinosouar
Bow
Wreath
Tree
Stocking
Christmas Tree
Letters of the Alphabet
Santa
Dragon
Face
Manger Scene
Present
Balloon
Heart
Names
Hands
Eye
Mask ( The kids can look through this one)
Tutle
Frog
Snake
Castle... really... I could go on forever...just try it, you'll never go back to the plain round pancake again.

What a Nightmare

I've been having bad dreams lately...
yesterday I drempt I got my guitar stolen in a high school. I was just happy to wake up and know it wasn't real.
Last night I had a dream we (Rob and I) were down stairs spending some time with some old friends, and I guess we fell asleep there. When we woke, (In the dream) we went out their front door. There was some pizza crust on their porch. ( I guess that's how we knew we weren't home)
We went out and saw that our door was open and the screen was shut. I saw myself standing in front of the door thinking "The door was left open. Any one could have come in during the night. They could have done something to my kids... then the door started to open ( I guess it was shut now) I saw a man standing there. I screamed because I knew he was there to hurt the kids. Then I woke in real life, to my mouth being open from screaming, but no sound had come out. It was a horrifying dream to imagine something had happened to my sweet little babies.
I hope tomorrow I will have a better dream. -and I'm not even eating any pickles before bed-;)
I'm so happy I could wake up and see these beautiful little faces, and know they were safe.

A Joyous Dream

Yee-hah! I am starting a blog! I've been needing to do this for some time now, and when thinking about what I should call it I really struggled. I went to bed one night, and when I woke up I remember dreaming about what to call it. I've always been sensitive to my dreams, and try to analize everything that happens in them. I find it always such a joy to dream... it seems to tell me how I feel, what I really think, and also helps me solve some of my hardest problms. I love my dreams, and I hope to see all the good ones come true!! :)

I'd love to hear some of your dreams (literal or a general dream you have to accomplish in your life) Please send them all!
